Press Trust of India | 07-May 23:50 PM

Ghaziabad: Dentist Nupur Talwar, who has completed a week in custody on Monday in Dasna prison, is suffering from mild fever and body pain, jail authorities said on Monday.

Talwar is facing trial in the 2008 double-murder case along with her husband Rajesh.

"Her family members, including husband Rajesh Talwar, came on Monday to jail with medicines, but were not allowed to administer Nupur," said jail Superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma.

Talwar was given medicines as the jail has its own hospital and doctors, he said.

She was suffering from mild fever and body pain, however, is in good health right now, the Superintendent said. Sharma said that after yoga Nupur took classes of jail inmates Monday morning. A special CBI court at Ghaziabad had earlier rejected Talwar's bail plea.
