Abhishek opts out of Prakash Jha's next and more

Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan seems to be in a fix. He lost out on Prakash Jha's next due to Aamir Khan. Apparently Abhishek was supposed to star in Jha's next based on Naxalites. But a source reveals that he opted out of the film as he wanted to concentrate on the much-hyped sequel of 'Dhoom'. But as luck would have it the action flick got pushed too, thanks to the preoccupation of Aamir's other commitments. Abhi this is what happens when you have Mr Perfectionist for a co-star.

Will Rekha star in a film with Big B?
Ever since Amitabh Bachchan stated that he was not averse to doing a film with Rekha provided the script was good, there has been all kinds of buzz about the two being approached by filmmakers to recreate the 'Silsila' magic. Rumour doing the round is that Yash Chopra has approached them for a film together. This is all hearsay but we thought of letting you know. Reportedly Big B's wife does not want to sit in close proximity to Rekha in the Rajya Sabha and has asked for a change in seating arrangement. Wonder what Jaya will have to say about this film offer?

Buzz is that Rajeev Khandelwal is all set to romance Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti Haasan in Aditya Dutt's next which is a romantic comedy. The film also stars Paresh Rawal and will go on the floors this year. Considering that Shruti's earlier two attempts failed at the box-office, wonder how this will do?

Looks like Parineeti Chopra has a new fan. This one is with a political background, who's impressed with reports of the actress's interest in politics. The fan in question is Prabha Chaudhary, president of Rajasthan University, who's believed to have expressed a desire to meet the actress. Needless to say, the new Chopra on the B-Town block is pleased to hear about her new fan and has decided to meet her too.

Tusshar Kapoor learns Urdu to play a Muslim gangster
Tusshar Kapoor is learning Urdu for his role in the upcoming action film. He is also studying the Quran for it. While the actor has learnt a bit of Urdu before, he is currently brushing up on his skills to play a Muslim gangster in the sequel to the 2007 hit. Apparently, he's trying to get the finer nuances of it right. Since hes playing a Muslim character for the first time in his career, he wants to get everything from the pronunciations to the body language spot on. Interestingly, hes learning Marathi for another movie.
