Both the starts are delighted to have been fighting the elections and have said they will give their best to the party, the state and the country. "I am grateful to Mamata for giving me this responsibility. I hope I can live up to it. Gorkhaland movement is a result of lack of development. The first thing we need is development. He also took an Jaswant Singh saying, "If I am called an outsider then Jaswant Singh is even more of an outsider. I have my family and friends there. I don't view BJP and GJM as a challenge at all."
Actress Moon Moon Sen praised the TMC saying, "My party is huge today. Actually in West Bengal, there is only Trinamool."
She also said there was nothing wrong in using star power. "Why not, I have used it too, why not if it helps. I now have to meet Didi to find out the plan of action," she said.
