Band plays 'Sheila Ki Jawani' on iPhone, tablets

New Delhi: Played entirely using smart phones and tablets, the Rave iBand's jazz version of Sheila Ki Jawani is a cool rhapsody that does not dilute the experience of campy music.
The band, by their own description on YouTube, comprises "serious musicians who play music using smart phones and tablets (the guitarist uses a guitar app, drummer uses a drum app)". The vocalist sings into a smartphone using a microphone app.
Rave iBand claims to be Asia's first ever band if its kind. Band members include Riccha Paul on two Smart Phones (Mic App, Perc App), Charan Raj on two Tablets (Piano App, Guitar App), Dj JDee on two Tablets (Dj App, Sampler App) and Vanil Veigas on one Tablet and one Smart Phone (Percussion App, Flute App). The music is directed by Raveolution Studios.
