Chennai: A final year student, studying in a government college at Nandanam, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly ragging an 18-year-old boy, who had come to make an enquiry regarding admissions.

Police said Prakash (18) of Panaiyur, on the East Coast Road, had come to the college to enquire on courses as well as admissions for first year students. As he was leaving the college campus, four students, including Manikandan alias Karthik (21) of Virugambakkam, stopped him and began ragging him, police said.
