Denied IPL tickets, BBMP refuses to clean stadium

Bangalore: Chris Gayle might have enthralled the Bangalore crowd on Wednesday at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. But the stadium is in a big mess after the IPL match. Piles of garbage bags remained uncollected even at 11 am on Wednesday morning.
This came after the Karnataka State Cricket Association refused to give VVIP tickets to the city corporators for IPL matches.
BBMP, the city's civic body, has stopped collecting garbage from Karnataka State Cricket Association ever since the cricket body's President Anil Kumble refused to give free VVIP tickets to the city corporators.
