New Delhi: Martin Scorsese's 3D adventure drama 'Hugo' is finally releasing in India. It is based on Brian Selznick's novel by the name 'The Invention of Hugo Cabret'. The film is written by John Logan while Johnny Depp has donned the role of one of the producers of the film.
The film stars Asa Butterfield, Chloe Grace Moretz, Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helen McCrory, Ray Winstone, Emily Mortimer, Jude Law and Christopher Lee in prominent roles.
'Hugo' is set in Paris where an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station wants to solve a mystery which involves his father and an automaton.
The film has been released in America and has received positive reviews. Critics praised 'Hugo' for its imaginative 3 D effects and inherent philosophy.
