J&K: 16 killed in February 22 avalanche

Gurez: Nearly 16 Army men lost their lives in the February 22 avalanche in Gurez and Dawar areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Three others were killed when another avalanche occured in Sonamarg the very same day.
Heavy snowfall hampered the rescue and retrieval operation.
It took the Army 6 days to recover the body of the last missing soldier.
