Kozhikode: AI plane makes emergency landing

Kozhikode: An Air India plane with 150 people on board was forced to make an emergency landing at the Kozhikode airport in Kerala after being hit by a bird. The AI-973 Kozhikode-Dubai flight made an emergency landing at the airport shortly after the mishap on Monday morning.
All the 150 people on board are reported to be safe. The bird hit was reported at 10:40 am with the pilot soon informing the air traffic controller and seeking the permission to land the plane.
The plane is being checked for the damages.
