Srinagar: The Justice (retired) H S Bedi Commission on Monday granted permission to the counsel of the family of deceased National Conference worker to visit the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's residence, police hospital and Crime Branch headquarters.
Justice Bedi granted permission to Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, counsel for the family of Syed Mohammad Yusuf, who died in police custody in 2011, to visit the camp office inside Chief Minister's residence, the police diagnostic centre and headquarters of the Crime Branch.
However, the Commission rejected Dar's plea for questioning the employees manning the CCTV cameras at these places during his visit.
As per the direction of the Commission, Dar has been allowed to visit the CM's residence on March 14 at 4.30 PM followed by the IGP Crime branch office on March 15 and Police hospital on March 19 at same time.
