Pranab's son wants to contest from his LS seat

New Delhi: President-elect Pranab Mukherjee's son Abhijit has reportedly expressed desire to contest the Lok Sabha seat from his father's constituency, Jangipur.
The seat fell vacant after Pranab was elected to be India's next President.
Murshidabad strongman Adhir Choudhary has already offered to support him.
Abhijit is currently an MLA from Nalhati in Birbhum.
The state Congress leaderhship, however, is yet to take a final decision on the matter.
